Medication Evaluation & Management

What This Service Helps With

Clients who come to us are often exhausted from trying all the things: therapy, lifestyle changes, sleep routines, supplements… and they still don’t feel like themselves. Many are navigating:

  • Depression or anxiety during pregnancy

  • Postpartum mood and anxiety disorders

  • Fertility-related stress, hormonal changes, or treatment side effects

  • Grief after pregnancy loss

  • Intense symptoms that make daily life feel hard: sleep struggles, overwhelm, difficulty making decisions, or emotional shutdown

Medication can provide relief when nothing else is working, helping you get back to a place where healing becomes possible again.

When you're doing everything you can to feel better but still struggling, medication can be a gentle next step. Elise, our Perinatal Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, provides expert, evidence-based medication support grounded in compassion, collaboration, and deep understanding of reproductive mental health.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We accept several in-network insurance plans, including Cigna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, and ComPsych, as well as private pay. Our team will help you verify your coverage and make the process simple. We also work with out-of-network insurance, checking your benefits and submitting claims directly on your behalf.

  • Clients starting a new medication are typically seen more frequently at first (often every 2 weeks) to ensure the medication is working well and side effects are minimal. As symptoms improve, appointments become less frequent and tailored to your needs.

  • That’s completely okay. Many clients come in feeling unsure. Elise will simply offer information, answer questions, and help you understand your options so you can make the right choice for you.

  • Absolutely. Partners are welcome and often find it helpful to hear information directly from Elise and ask their own questions.
